Sedona Arts Center presents a week-long celebration of Sedona’s extraordinary beauty as seen through the eyes and talent of thirty of the finest painters in the country. “En Plein Air”, a French term that translates to “in the open air”, describes paintings that have been created outdoors rather than in a studio. The spectacular red rock scenery and temperate climate of Sedona create the perfect location for plein air painting. Artists will be seen all over town – at trailheads, on the streets, at resorts and other scenic locales in the area.
